Hello! I'm so glad you stopped by.
Here at CopperState News, we're tired of lousy journalism. We are frustrated that rural communities only get noticed in statewide publications when the news is bad.
We think that every community can have a well-rounded voice on the entire Arizona stage. We believe in allowing well-trained citizen reporters to share the news of their community. We think that good news can be shared and celebrated all over Arizona. While we know that some news is bad, we believe it can be told fairly without over-sensationalizing the information just to get people to read it. One of our favorite sayings is that we're not trying to be vacuum cleaners - looking for nothing but dirt.
We know that news can be told in many ways - through writing, podcasts, video and images. We use it all.
We also know that news can be accessed in many ways - through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and more. Our news content is shared across as many platforms as appropriate and possible.
Finally, we understand that you're a busy person, and sometimes you don't have the time to read the entire article. We summarize the main points at the beginning so you can understand quickly what is happening - even if you don't read it all.
We appreciate your support through reading our articles, sharing them with friends and telling others about CopperState News.
If you have any questions or comments - feel free to email me directly! We think you're important and we look forward to hearing from you!
