The Winner of the Mini-Shopping Spree Announced! Featured

Great prices, and the winner of the mini-shopping spree is announced.

Big Idea

  • Best Deals A-Z is a discount grocery store
  • Prices are deeply discounted
  • They are open Wednesday - Saturday.
  • We have a winner for the Mini-Shopping Spree!

And the winner is...

We are excited to announce our first Mini-Shopping spree winner.

Last week, we said that Best Deals A-Z is the place for bargain shoppers! We told you what we bought, and then challenged you to guess how much it actually cost. If we purchased the same items at retail prices, we’d spend over $55.00.

We set up a form for y’all to offer a guess, and promised a $10 shopping credit at Best Deals A-Z.

Now, $10 may not seem like much, but that goes a long way at Best Deals A-Z.

Take a look at the receipt, and you’ll see that I got over $55 worth of food, for just $9.01.

Our winner? That would be Lauren Perez, from Prescott Valley. Her guess was pretty close, $9.27. Congratulations, Lauren! Watch your email and we will tell you how to get your credit.

What you need to know about Best Deals A-Z:

All the products at Best Deals A-Z are new, but you will find dented cans, items with no labels and other imperfections. The food within the container, however, is just fine. The store is located in a county “island” so there is no sales tax on food. There are other items, such as vitamins, cosmetics, batteries, pet food, utensils, etc.. If you see it today, it might be sold out tomorrow. They are only open 4 days a week, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They are closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. They do have parking, but it is limited.

Just to review, here’s the list of the original purchase, complete with the lowest normal, everyday retail prices that I could find. Obviously, I didn’t pay those prices, but it is provided for your reference. To be entered, you need to simply guess what price I paid, including the 3% credit card fee.
