Barrett Propane donates $6,304.84 to The BreastCare Center at Yavapai Regional Medical Center through its Pink Truck Program

Barrett Propane donates more than $6,000 to the BreastCare Center.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Barrett Propane recently presented a check for $6,304.84 to The BreastCare Center at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. Barrett donates annually a penny per gallon pumped through their 3000 gallon pink bobtail propane truck. 

“We are so thankful for Barrett Propane’s lasting generosity. We continue to help women in our community by providing mammograms and other diagnostic tests for early detection, assisting with breast cancer support, and ensuring the BreastCare Center continues to have the most up-to-date technology.  These funds truly make a different for families in our community touched by breast cancer,” stated Kathleen Hoffer, BreastCare Center at YRMC Manager. 

This is the ninth year that Barrett Propane has donated through the Pink Truck Program.  “We’re delighted that we’ve been able to donate an nine year total of more than $40,000 to the BreastCare Center. They truly help so many in our community and if we can help even one person with early detection, our mission is being fulfilled,” stated Dave Barrett of Barrett Propane.
