PRESCOTT, AZ: Schools are closed today

PUSD is now calling a full snow day. There will be no school today 2/23/22. Our snow team has been out on the roads since 2:30 AM watching the storm develop later than forecasted. Since calling the delay the temperatures have dropped and the snow is accumulating quickly. The forecast continues to call for snow throughout the day. Our drivers have determined that buses will struggle in these conditions and the safest path is to call a snow day. Everyone please be safe!

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ: HUSD School Canceled 2-23-2022

Due to worsening weather conditions and falling temperatures, school is canceled for today. We do have students that were bussed to school and we are working with families to safely return them home.

Although we did not receive the anticipated snowfall overnight there is continuing and forecasted "heavy" snow accumulations expected throughout the day today.
