New databases:

Gale Business: Entrepreneurship, from Gale, a Cengage Company, offers an intuitive interface providing multiple pathways to key information for both beginner and experienced entrepreneurs. Users can quickly learn how to start a business, write a business plan, craft a marketing campaign, launch a product and more.

Gale Business: Plan Builder, an online resource, from Gale, a Cengage company, that turns the complex business planning process into a guided, step-by-step experience.

Gale Presents: Udemy, from Gale, a Cengage Company, offers a unique, tailor-made learning experience for adults who want to upskill for a new job or advance in their current profession. This top collection, powered by Udemy for Business, helps learners get where they want to be personally and professionally.

Home Improvement Reference Center, a database from EBSCO containing thousands of articles from leading home improvement magazines and reference books, plus a collection of home repair images not found anywhere else online.

Hobbies & Crafts Reference Center, a database from EBSCO containing thousands of articles from top hobby and craft magazines and books as well as recipes, “how-to” videos, and hobby profiles.

Udemy, Gale Business, Gale Planning, EBSCO’s Home Improvement Reference Center, and Hobbies and Crafts Reference Center databases can be accessed by visiting https://ycfld.gov/. Yavapai County residents who don’t currently have a library card can attain one by visiting their local library branch or by registering online at https://ycfld.gov/selfreg.

Gale Business, Gale Planning, and Udemy databases were acquired through the YCFLD’s P.R.O.S.P.E.R grant. This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum & Library Services.
