It is Yavapai County Community Health Services’ honor to announce that Leslie Horton has received the award for "Outstanding Achievement in Rural Woman's Health".
The award is given to a leader working in rural health that has dedicated their time and talents to improving the health and wellbeing of others. Leslie Horton has set the example of stretching the boundaries of possibility by forging innovative programs and services, making rural life healthier for all.
Leslie was selected based on her leadership and cooperative attitude in seeking ways to make lasting contributions to public health issues and has demonstrated the effects on rural health at the county, state and national level.
