A letter from Dr. Askari

Dear Patients, Physicians, Colleagues, Nurses, Assisted Living Care Providers, and our Quad-Cities Community,

With deepest sadness, in order to protect our patients and community during the local COVID surge, Thumb Butte Medical Center (TBMC) is closing Chino Valley and Prescott Valley for the next six weeks, beginning Monday, December 7th.  The Prescott location will only accept walk-ins for urgent matters. Drive-thru COVID-19 testing will also continue.

Our hours of operation for Drive-Thru testing and urgent matters at the Prescott office will be extended to

7 days a week from 8AM - 4PM.

All individual medical specialties and dentistry services at TBMC will remain open according to their own schedules. Please call them directly.

Routine medical needs, such as prescriptions, labs, MRIs, CAT Scans, Chest X-Rays, ultrasounds and mammograms will be arranged through telemedicine during this time by calling 928-445-7085.

We are proud to provide excellent service to current and new patients via Tele-Health or house calls at your residence if needed. In addition, our excellent team of care providers are available to you for urgent matters via cell phones or direct email.

Thumb Butte Medical Center will be closed for Christmas and New Year’s weekends.

We are all in this together - please continue to make smart choices!

May your holidays be happy and healthy,

Dr. Hojat Askari,

Medical Director, TBMC
