Be a County or Precinct Committee!

Yavapai County Elections Director, Lynn Constabile would like to announce that County and Precinct Committeemen candidate packets with official signature requirements are now available for download on our website: www.yavapaiaz.gov/govote/forms. Candidates may turn in their nomination petitions and paperwork between March 5, 2022 and April 4, 2022 during regular county business hours at the Elections Office, 1015 Fair St., Room 228, Prescott, AZ 86305. Filings cannot be accepted at Yavapai County’s Cottonwood Annex building. Additional information is available in the candidate packets. 

According to State Statutes 16-822 E

"The minimum duties of a precinct committeeman shall be to assist the precinct committeeman's political party in voter registration and to assist the voters of that political party to vote on election days. Additional duties shall be as provided for in the state committee bylaws of the precinct committeeman's political party."
