Be Connected: Serving Arizona Veterans, Pt 2 Featured

Be Connected can help veterans find the best VSO to meet their needs.

Big Idea

  • The mission of Be Connected is to help veterans in need navigate the many local, state and national VSO’s
  • Be Connected has an extensive list of VSO’s that can help veterans in need
  • The best way to get assistance from any of the listed VSOs is to go through Be Connected
  • Be Connected is like a one-stop shop for all VSOs

Be Connected: A One-Stop Shop for Veterans

As reported at the end of July, the relatively new Veteran’s Service Organization (VSO), named Be Connected  has a mission for all veterans in Arizona: Help veterans in need navigate the many local, state and national VSOs by connecting them to the best match relative to that need.

Here is a list of VSOs currently working with Be Connected to meet those needs. Some of these organizations are US government services, some are Arizona State services, while others are locally offered with no ties to government, yet still recognized on some level.

We will be adding to this list as new groups come on board, as part of an effort to give veterans a wide scope of options to enable a clearer choice when contacting one of these groups for assistance. It is our hope that we can reduce the number of times a veteran seeks help from the wrong group only to have to start the seeking process all over again. Be Connected is here to match each Veteran’s need to the right VSO.

Bottom line: Be Connected can help you make the first call, which will be the most effective and productive call for your specific need.

This is a list of those Veteran Service Organizations that came on board at Be Connected’s first meeting. The contact information for each organization can be obtained by contacting Be Connected’s County Navigator.
