CHINO VALLEY, AZ – The Town of Chino Valley will hold its Primary Election on August 2, 2022 and its General Election on November 8, 2022.
The office of mayor, with a two-year term, and three council positions with four-year terms, are open for candidacy.
Anyone desiring to run for mayor or councilmember must meet the qualifications to register to vote, be 18 years of age, live within the Town limits, and must have resided within the Town limits for one year.
Citizens may obtain a candidate packet at the Town Clerk's Office in Town Hall, 202 N. State Route 89, by making an appointment with the Town Clerk at 636-2646, ext. 1052.
Prospective candidates will have until April 4, 2022 to gather the required number of signatures and file the necessary papers with the Town Clerk.
