Drivers should use caution and allow extra travel time.

The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists who use State Route 89 in Chino Valley to plan for overnight lane restrictions as crews replace the traffic signal pole at the Road 2 South intersection. The following restrictions will occur from 8 p.m. Monday, April 25, to 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 26:   • North- and southbound SR 89 will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the Road 2 South intersection. 

 

• Flaggers will direct drivers through the intersection.

• A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.

 

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around personnel and equipment while traffic signal pole installation is underway. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
