Pinal County Sheriff's Office July 16, 2020 1243

“It was you. You changed your outcome, you changed your story. We just helped,” Deputy Lever said.

Big Idea
  • The abuse didn’t start until after their daughter was born, Samantha said
  • Samantha is going back to school to get her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, then after that, she’s going for her Master’s
  • She would love to work in a Police Department or the Courthouse
  • Samantha wants to help, preferably people who have been in domestic violence

"If it wasn't for Deputy Levar that night, I would honestly probably be dead."

While responding to a domestic violence call 3 years ago, PCSO Deputy Levar helped a San Tan Valley woman escape her abuser.

Thank you, Samantha, for sharing your story. “We don’t hear the outcome enough,” Deputy Lever said, “It’s what we signed up for, it’s why we’re here.
