What You Need to Know About Prescott's Fireworks Featured

4th of JULY FIREWORKS EVENT: DETAILS, MAPS & LINKS

Big Idea

  • The City of Prescott will be sponsoring a 4th of July fireworks event. 
  • The event will be held at Watson Lake
  • There will be road closures, limited parking, and free shuttles
  • Family friendly activities

NEED TO KNOW:

  • Event starts at 3 PM
  • Fireworks should start around 9 PM
  • SR 89 will be closed from 2 PM until the fireworks have ended.
  • (If you must use 89, plan for detours.)

FAMILY FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES:

  • Live music
  • water slides
  • inflatables
  • games and activities
  • a beer garden (21 and over)
  • Food Vendors (at additional cost, of course)
  • US ARMY Band will be performing during Fireworks

ADMISSION FEES:

General admission: $5

Children under 5: Free

Unlimited inflatable pass: $25 advance purchase/$30 at the door (Buy advance tickets online, see link below.)

PARKING:

  • Limited at Watson Lake, $10 first come, first served
  • (You can buy advance parking tickets online, see link below)
  • Handicapped parking: $10
  • Additional parking on Highway 89: $10 (All vehicles must be removed from the highway no later than 11PM)
  • Pioneer Park + Shuttle to Watson Lake: FREE
  • Watson Lake will close at noon for preparations.

What you CANNOT BRING:

  • coolers

  • canopies

  • backpacks (open tote bags ok)

  • outside food or drink

  • bbqs

  • animals

  • firearms

  • outside fireworks

WHAT YOU CAN BRING:

  • One unopened and sealed bottle of water per person

  • Lawn chairs and umbrellas for shade

  • blankets

  • flashlight
