Friend of the Farmers: Paul Gosar is recognized at the Yavapai County Farm Bureau meeting
PRESCOTT, AZ - Representative Paul A. Gosar, D. D. S. (AZ-04) was recently recognized by the Yavapai County Farm Bureau for his strong advocacy and support of Arizona farmers, ranchers and growers. This is the fourth time Congressman Gosar has received this recognition.
The award is only given to members of Congress who have supported the Farm Bureau’s position on important agriculture-related policy issues, as demonstrated by their voting records.
After receiving his award in Prescott, in front of a full house, Rep. Gosar said “I am pleased to be recognized as a true friend to Arizona’s farmers and ranchers. The agriculture industry faces many challenges ranging from onerous taxation, inflation, water regulations, labor issues, environmental issues and more. Despite these challenges, it is impossible to overstate the importance our farmers play in feeding families in Arizona and throughout the country. There is no single industry more important than our rural farmers. In rural Arizona, agriculture is integral to the health of our local economy and I have always considered our proud farmers and ranchers as friends. It is both humbling and rewarding to once again be a recipient of this prestigious award and I will continue to support policies that enable this important industry to prosper,” concluded Congressman Gosar.
