Prescott Police are attempting to slow traffic down

During the week of February 27th, 2022, the Traffic Safety Section of the Prescott Police Department conducted extra traffic enforcement on Montezuma Street. Officers concentrated their efforts on this roadway looking for dangerous and reckless violations to include speeding violations. Officers stopped 72 vehicles which resulted in 97 traffic violations.

The Prescott Police Department will continue traffic enforcement details throughout the city in an attempt to slow traffic down in order to reduce serious traffic crashes.
