The Prescott Police Department will continue traffic enforcement details throughout the City

During the week of April 3, 2022, the Traffic Safety Section of the Prescott Police Department conducted extra traffic enforcement on State Route 89 and State Route 89A. Officers concentrated their efforts on this roadway looking for dangerous and reckless violations to include speeding violations. Officers stopped a total of 40 vehicles which resulted in 59 traffic violations.  

The Prescott Police Department will continue traffic enforcement details throughout the city in an attempt to slow traffic down to reduce traffic crashes.  

Roadway safety is the responsibility of every driver.  If you observe erratic driving behavior, contact law enforcement immediately.
