Santa Claus arrived in a helicopter!
On Saturday, December 10th, 2022, over 60 children from Prescott and surrounding communities partnered up with law enforcement officers to spend the morning enjoying a delicious breakfast, visiting with Santa, and of course shopping!
We couldn’t make this event happen without our amazing law enforcement partners. A huge thank you to the US Marshal’s Posse, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Yavapai College PD, Arizona Game and Fish, Arizona Department of Public Safety, Chino Valley PD, Prescott Valley PD, Veteran’s Affairs Police, Yavapai Prescott Tribal Police, and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. A special thank you to Native Air and CAFMA for the safe transportation of Santa and Mrs. Claus as well!
We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to all our community partners, individuals, and businesses, who continue to donate in support of this wonderful event. It simply would not happen without the generosity of our wonderful community.
Chief Amy Bonney added, "The Prescott Police Department is honored to coordinate this special event each year, and we are so thankful to our community for their generous support; our volunteers; and of course, all the Officers who volunteer their time each year to share the spirit of Christmas with our most important treasures-the children of our community."
