Please Provide Your Input about Prescott Downtown Parklets!

Earlier this year, the City of Prescott allowed restaurants and other establishments to use public right of way (parking spaces) to construct outdoor dining structures.  This program, called parklets, was designed to help offset State mandated occupancy restrictions due to COVID-19.  The program was intended to be temporary, only during the restrictions.

The city council held a special study session on Sept. 22 to discuss the future of the program.  At the meeting Council requested that a date be established for ending of the parklet program, citing weather and other concerns.    Mayor Greg Mengarelli asked that both those in favor of the program and those against it weigh in on a possible end date for this season, taking weather and ongoing pandemic restrictions into consideration.

Please take a moment to complete this brief survey, which will be presented to Council before their next meeting, on October 13.

Please note: If you are a downtown business owner, and have already completed this survey through the Prescott Downtown Partnership or the City of Prescott Tourism Office, we ask that you not complete this survey, which is intended for residents.  The Downtown Partnership survey results will also be shared with Council.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. We value your feedback.
