Internet down for Sparklight customers, time of repair is unknown
According to the Sparklight Twitter feed, a cut in the fiber line has caused a widespread internet outage across central Arizona.
Sparklight writes, "Note: Areas serviced by our Show Low, Prescott & Cottonwood offices include Pinetop, Navajo County, Snowflake, Taylor, Winslow, Holbrook Joseph City, Chino Valley, Ponderosa Park, Dewey, Humboldt, Mayer, Paulden, Cornville, Yavapai County, and Yavapai-Apache-Clarkdale."
Things to note:
- Your cellular service should be working. If it is not, move to an area that is farther away from your local WiFi and try to get cell service from there.
- To our knowledge, Cox customers are not affected, but we are trying to verify that.
