The vehicle made a left turn and the motorcycle struck the SUV, causing the rider to fall to the ground.

The motorcycle rider, a male, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a Phoenix area hospital for treatment. The rider was wearing a helmet and motorcycle jacket.
