Prescott Valley, Ariz. – The Town of Prescott Valley announces the availability of candidate packets for the 2022 election cycle starting Tuesday, September 7, 2021. The Town will hold a Primary Election on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, for the purpose of electing one Mayor and two Council Members to fill four-year terms. A General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, to fill any elected offices that remain unfilled after the Primary Election and for any other ballot questions that may be presented. Interested candidates can find more information on running for local office, compliance requirements, and election filings on the Town’s website at www.pvaz.net under Election Information. Anyone interested in picking up a candidate nomination packet should schedule an appointment with the Town Clerk’s Office at (928)759-3028 to receive a copy. The Clerk’s office will hold an open house on Tuesday, September 7 from 4-6PM in the Council Chambers, located in the Prescott Valley Public Library at 7401 E Skoog Blvd., to go over the candidate packet and answer any questions.
