Signal timing adjustments being studied for Glassford Hill
The Town of Prescott Valley in partnership with the Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization (CYMPO) is conducting a regional Intelligent Transportation System Study to review signal timings for best condition scenarios to move traffic on regionally significant roadway corridors in the Prescott Valley/Prescott area. This includes Glassford Hill Road, SR 69, and Willow Creek Road. On Thursday, September 9, and Saturday, September 11, Prescott Valley will have a contractor conduct turning movement counts at the 10 signalized intersections on Glassford Hill Road from SR 69 to SR89A to incorporate with Study findings so far for signal timing adjustments anticipated to be implemented this November for Glassford Hill Road.
Any questions regarding the Intelligent Transportation System Study can be directed to Daniel Harmonick, Transportation Planner at (928) 442-5732 or review the Study progress on CYMPO web page at www.CYMPO.org.
