Construction traffic will be heavy next week.

Glassford Hill Summit Trail will be closed starting at 8:00 pm on Monday, September 28 through Tuesday, September 29 due to a high volume of construction traffic and equipment as the base for a new concrete water storage tank is constructed.  The Trail will reopen on Wednesday, September 30. Pedestrians and hikers are asked to adjust their trail usage around these dates and times.

Additionally, due to the amount of concrete needed to construct the tank base, heavy truck traffic and construction noise will take place late Monday night, September 28 and continue into the daytime hours on Tuesday.   The Town of Prescott Valley apologizes to residents living along Prescott East Highway and near the trail head for the overnight activity. These areas include Antelope Lane near Prescott East Highway, Castle Drive, Marden Lane, Thayer Street, Pembroke Street and Hanover Drive.  Unfortunately, this disturbance cannot be avoided, and we will notify residents of any schedule changes. The Town of Prescott Valley appreciates your patience and understanding during this time.
