Well, we had seen that this little place was in the works months ago, but ya know COVID happened.  I then saw a post on the Prescott 365 (you should follow them on Facebook as they promote great stuff) saying that they had OPENED!

Zak and I were kicking around ideas for lunch and I pulled up the menu from the post and we took a look.  They offer fresh green chile in their breakfasts and on their sandwiches, which is a favorite of Zak’s given he is from Albuquerque and good green chile is hard to find here.  So, we popped in and took a seat.  The atmosphere is farmhouse which was relaxing, it is a bit noisy however.  The menu has both breakfast and lunch and EVERYTHING looked amazing!  We missed breakfast so flipped the menu to lunch!  Burgers and sandwiches, many with a different twist!

Now, for lunch…

Zak opted for the Legend burger and I had the Frontier.  HOLY COW, literally!  Each was a 9oz burger, his had thick-cut bacon, fresh green chile, guacamole, pepper jack cheese, house made pickles on a butter grilled bun.  We are a ZERO tomato couple so we opted out of those.  Zak gave this burger 8 out of a 10!  He said his had GREAT flavor, the bun was fantastic and the home made Kennebec fries made the plate even better!  Really, where do you get home made fries anymore?!

I had the Frontier and boy was it fabulous! It had thick-cut bacon, house-made BBQ sauce, caramelized onions, sharp cheddar cheese, potato chips (say wha?!), house-made pickles, lettuce on a butter grilled bun.

This burger was SO good, it was cooked to order and juicy, the BBQ sauce was light with amazing flavor and not a too smoky taste and the toppings were a great compliment.  Both burgers came out and we thought how on earth are we going to eat those as they were held together by a giant steak knife, but we managed to do just fine.  They are an oblong burger which was different.  The french fries were home made and had a great crunch to them.  I gave mine a 9 of a 10!

The owner asked everyone how their lunch was and everyone there seemed happy.  The service was great, very pleasant and attentive.  Each of our sandwiches were $13.00 and so with the amount of food you got, you definitely got your moneys worth.

I tell ya, we will definitely be back to not only have the burgers again but to try something on the outstanding breakfast menu!
