It’s a great time to go swimming in Prescott Valley

Prescott Valley Town Council on Thursday, June 23 approved a resolution to reduce entrance fees to the pool at Mountain Valley Splash. The reduction fits into Town Council’s Strategic Plan focus area of Quality of Life, enhancing recreational programs for Town residents.

As of Monday, June 27, 2022, the entrance fee for Open Swim at the pool will be $2.00 per person, regardless of age, for the rest of the 2022 season (August 7, 2022). Previously, the fee for Youth was $4.00, Adults were $5.00, and Seniors were $4.00. The fees for other services such as aerobics, swim lessons, and swim team will remain the same.

With the reduction in prices, families will save at least half of what they’ve paid in the past. The fee reduction is only for Open Swim, which happens Monday‐Friday from 12:00PM‐4:30PM, Saturday‐Sunday from 12:00PM‐5:30PM, as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00PM‐9:00PM.

During the next fiscal year, staff will be reviewing all fees during a Town‐wide assessment.
