Hello,

As promised, special veggie boxes for Thanksgiving week are now live on our website.  Pre-order a box with lots of goodies for your Thanksgiving feast or stock up with plenty of storable winter goods to tide you over for a few weeks time.  We also have shirts and sweatshirts online and available for shipping. If you are local, you can always just come by the market for Whipstone merch as well.

Hot sauce is available on our website for a limited time too.  It was not the best year for chiles - they were very late and slow to ripen which means we weren't able to replenish our stock of smoked and dried chiles as much as we would have liked.  So, get some while you can, supplies will be limited this year

We will be at the farmers market in Prescott this Saturday, so if you are not into the idea of pre-ordering a box, then come on by and stock up with what you need.  The week after Thanksgiving there will not be a farmers market, so just keep that in mind when you are shopping. 

I've said it many times before, but it never gets old, so I will keep saying it.  We are grateful for each and every one of you.  It's been a rough year, to say the least.  We wouldn't be here without you.  In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we will be giving away 5 Thanksgiving veggie boxes. Do you know of someone local to us who could truly use this gift?  Please shoot me an email with just a quick sentence or two of who they are and what this gift would mean to them along with their name and contact info and I will select 5 winners.  Thanks for helping us spread the good food love.

"The Thanksgiving box will be full of the freshest vegetables in season from the farm right now and perfect for the Thanksgiving holiday. This box is a little bigger than our large CSA shares with larger quantities of each item, perfect for preparing a wonderful meal for your family.  This is a great way to “pre-order” and secure your produce as we often sell out of a lot of things on Thanksgiving week. Plenty of items in this box store well during the winter months, so you can also use this as s winter storage stock up box, especially if you are forgoing large family gatherings this year. 

Anticipated box contents: Spinach, salad greens, carrots, onions, garlic, root medley, herb bundle, butternut squash (makes the best pumpkin pie), potatoes, organic apples from Wilcox, pickled red onions, hot peppers and more. Some items may change depending on available quantities.

These boxes have a $55 retail value, but the discounted price to you is $40. Order cut off is Monday November 23 at 8 am. Boxes must be picked up at Pangaea Bakery from 3-5 pm on Tuesday, November 24th. Or if you prefer to pick up on Wednesday morning (November 25th 9-11 am) at the farm, please put a note in the comment box at check out.  No substitutions or trades will be available for these boxes and we won’t be offering alternate pick up times.  Feel free to email with any questions."
