Forecast Discussion:

A low pressure system moving across the Great Basin today is bringing cooler weather and considerable high cloudiness across the area today, and will produce windy conditions from the late morning to evening, with southwesterly gusts above 30 mph.

A bit of ridging is expected Tuesday and Wednesday for some warming and mostly clear skies.

The ridge will flatten out on Thursday through the coming weekend, with a series of disturbances moving across the southwest, bringing a gradual moistening of the airmass over the Southwest. There will be breezy conditions and variable clouds through the coming weekend, with a possibility of light to moderate rain showers Sunday night to Monday (but there is low confidence in the weekend forecast at this time).
