Juan Cid Ortega is the Chino Valley Student of the Week CHINO VALLEY, AZ- The Chino Valley Unified School District would like to recognize Juan Cid Ortega of Del Rio School as our Student of the Week for the week ending September 3, 2021. 

The information below provided by the DRS staff: 

Juan is a wonderful 5th grade student who works hard in classwork. He is great with both classmates and staff and always willing to give a helping hand. 

He is smart and tries his best in everything. He demonstrates a caring attitude and always has a hug or kind word ready for everyone. Juan likes to study cultures and when he grows up he would like to be in the military. 

Juan is also a gifted artist who works hard at developing his craft. He is funny and often makes both students and staff laugh with his French words and joyful manner. 

Juan has really grown as a student since last year. He is hard working, helpful, and can be trusted to make the right choice and is often the classroom leader. He is kind and respectful to both staff and peers and can always be seen giving a helping hand. 

Juan is a perfect example of what it means to be a Del Rio cougar in that he always strives to be his best and influences others to try their best as well.
