Ava Duran is a shining star at Del Rio School
CHINO VALLEY, AZ- The Chino Valley Unified School District would like to recognize Ava Duran of Del Rio School as our Student of the Week for the week ending January14, 2022.
The information below provided by the DRS staff:
Fifth grader, Ava Duran, is a shining star at Del Rio School. She walks into the classroom each morning with a great attitude, a can-do spirit, and an eagerness to learn. Ava enjoys school, excels in all subjects, and when asked about her favorite things at school she replies with excitement “my teacher and my friends.”
When she is not in the classroom learning, Ava likes to be the teacher at home for her brother and sister and aspires to be a teacher in the classroom when she grows up.
Ava is not just a standout student, she is also an accomplished athlete, winning three medals and multiple ribbons in Cross Country this year.
