A Picnic/Barbeque Fundraiser will be held Saturday from 10:30-2 PM on Saturday to benefit the US VETS ‘Dog Park Project’
Big Idea
- The Picnic/Barbeque Fundraiser will benefit the US Vets ‘Dog Park Project’ for service and therapy dogs
- Food will be provided by The Hungry Badger Food Truck
- 50% of proceeds go to the US VETS — but the Vets eat FREE!
- Republican candidates will also attend - feel free to ask them questions
- You can adopt a dog from the Yavapai Humane Society
Talk about multi-tasking! On Saturday, August 22nd, Granite Creek Park will be the place to help out the US VETS, meet & greet with Republican candidates who will be on the ballot in November and grab some great food from the Hungry Badger Food Truck.
You can also see the Embry-Riddle Color & Honor Guard, which will be joined by the Sabre Drill Team and Rifle Drill Team. While you’re at it, mingle with local American Legion and VFW members.
If that’s not enough, why not adopt a dog from the Yavapai Humane Society? They will be right there!
In other words, there is plenty for the entire family to enjoy. Bring ‘em all! (Well, maybe the cat should stay home.) It will be a nice opportunity to get outside and enjoy the fresh air, with plenty of space for amiable social distancing.
