Come help support the Community!
For the second year, Rotary District 5495 is holding its Annual Week of Service, providing help in our local communities in a variety of ways. Rotary has been serving our world for over 115 years, internationally and locally, supporting literacy and education, eradicating disease, fighting poverty, promoting peace, and feeding the hungry.
In our Quad-Cities area, the three Rotary Clubs- Prescott, Prescott Frontier, and Sunup- the two Interact Clubs from Prescott HS and Bradshaw Mountain HS, and the Rotoract Silver Wings Club from Embry-Riddle are supporting a drive for canned and boxed goods for Yavapai Food Bank and Community Cupboard on Friday through Sunday, April 22-24. There’s even a bit of friendly competition between the two Interact Clubs!
In Prescott, donations will be collected from 9A-5P, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 22-24, at Safeway on Willow Creek Road and at Walmart on Gail Gardner. Just look for the table with volunteers outside the door.
In Prescott Valley, donations will be collected at Walmart on Glassford Hill Road on Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23, from 9A-5P. Look for the table with volunteers.
Additional collections of canned and boxed goods will be taken at One AZ Credit Unions and PNC Banks on Friday and Saturday.
Cash donations will be accepted at all of these locations.
BloomTree/Better Homes & Garden Realtors on Gurley and Cortez will also be taking donated goods, but not cash.
It’s been a tough couple of years, but the spirit of giving is back, as strong as ever, and Rotary, Rotoract, and Interact are here to help! We invite you to join us!
