The Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety provides grant for car seat installation verification checks
Thanks to a grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, the Prescott Valley Police Department will be hosting several car seat installation verification checks over the next several months.
All checks will be conducted in the parking lot at Park Collective, 7450 East Pav Way (Northwest corner of Lake Valley Road).
The dates and times on which these car seat checks will be completed are as follows:
- Saturday, February 18, 2023, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Saturday, March 11, 2023, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Saturday, April 29, 2023, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Saturday, May 20, 2023, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Caregivers will need to schedule a time by calling Amy Stone at 928-772-5162.
- Each caregiver should prepare for a half-hour allotted time for the car seat check.
Child safety is the responsibility of every caregiver, and the Prescott Valley Police Department is committed to doing everything possible to assist in child safety.
