Local Students earn Scholarships

A packed crowd of 430 were present at the May 11 luncheon at Prescott Resort to honor the 13 recipients of the annual scholarship program by Republican Women of Prescott.  Funding for the 2022 Scholarship Program came from RWOP’s year-long fundraising efforts, along with donations from the Joseph and Peg Rhodes Endowment, Dr. Jason Campbell, Gunsite, Windsor Assurance, RWOP members Susan Lucas, Judith Ubaldi and the Scholarship Committee.

Pictured below are the high school recipients: (Left to right)

Madison Foster – Chino High, Jamie Huttmann – Prescott High, Alexis Lee – Bradshaw Mountain, Wyatt Dougherty – Tri City Prep, Esther Walters – Trinity Christian, Jonas Carman – Prescott High, Ruby Tessman – Prescott High, Cooper Williams – Bagdad High, Karis Orr – Trinity Christian, Michelle Parent – Prescott High, and Ellie Magnett – Prescott High.

Embry-Riddle Students are Shannon Dohrman and Anthony Quintero.

RWOP also honored our local law enforcement agencies at the May luncheon.  Sheriff Mark Lamb of Pinal County and Sheriff David Rhodes of Yavapai County were guest speakers.

RWOP is the largest Federated Republican Women’s Organization in Arizona, founded in 1942.
