This is a curb-side pick-up event for residential utility customers only

Prescott, AZ (February 1, 2022) – The City of Prescott will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection for City residents from March 7th – 25th to allow residents the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted household hazardous items. 

 

Materials accepted include, but are not limited to: 

insecticides

pesticides

gasoline

car batteries

drain and oven cleaners

bleaches

CFL and Fluorescent Light bulbs (unbroken)

oil (5-gallon limit)

latex paint (20- gallon limit)

stain thinners

sealers

adhesives

non-alkaline batteries

old mercury thermometers.  

 

Empty containers and dried paint cans should be placed in your regular trash cart.

This is a curb-side pick-up event for residential utility customers only, no services will be provided for commercial businesses.

Pre-registration is required to participate.  Residents can call 928-777-1116 or register online at www.prescott-az.gov for this service beginning Monday, February 14th.  Collection will begin Monday, March 7th.
