At the regular Board of Supervisors meeting held today (03/03/2021) the board voted unanimously to sell several portions of property located at 10401 E State Route 89A in Prescott Valley adjacent to the Arizona Downs.

Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Chairman Craig Brown said, “Today the board looked at the second group of parcels (6-10), one of which includes the nearly 64,000 square foot Exhibition Center and decided to sell Sections 8-10 (In Green on attached Map). Parcels 6 and 7 were kept for future emergency large animal shelter needs.”

At a previous Regular Board of Supervisors meeting on February 3, 2021, portions labeled 1-5 (Yellow on attached map) were approved for sale by the Board.

Supervisor Mary Mallory made the motion to have staff begin the final appraisal efforts and then place the property up for auction.  Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Harry Oberg seconded the motion and Chairman Brown closed the meeting.
