Day-Use Hours Are Reduced at Recreation Sites Featured

The new hours go into effect on October 1

 

PRESCOTT, AZ, September 27, 2021 - Starting on October 1, 2021 day-use hours at recreation sites on the Bradshaw Ranger District are reduced reflecting the shorter days.  Gates will open at 7:00 am and close at 5:00 pm daily through February 28, 2022.  

 

The effected Day-Use sites include:

 

Granite Basin Recreation Area:

Cayuse Equestrian Trailhead

Wekuvde Picnic Area

Granite Lake Boat Launch

Playa Picnic Area

Metate Trailhead

 

 Lynx Lake Recreation Area:

Lynx Lake South Shore Day Use

Lynx Lake North Shore Day Use

 

 Thumb Butte Recreation Area:

Thumb Butte Day Use area

Thumb Butte Group Picnic Area

 

*During periods of inclement weather, gates may not open until conditions are safe.
