The aging water system and distribution lines are in need of replacement.
PRESCOTT, AZ, January 13, 2022 – The Prescott National Forest awarded a contract to Blue World Construction to replace the aging Lynx Lake Water System and distribution lines in 2022. Work on this project began in December of 2021 and is estimated to be completed in July of 2022. This project could delay the opening of recreation sites in the Lynx Lake Recreation Area.
Water is still available; however, visitors may experience periodic interruptions in water service. Please observe and obey all warning or traffic control signs, especially in areas where workers are present. Be mindful of open trenches and other hazards.
