City of Prescott Thanksgiving Schedule Announced Evan Wise

City Offices, Library and Solid Waste Collection Schedule

PRESCOTT, AZ (November 15, 2021) – The City of Prescott will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 25th – 26th, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.  City offices will reopen on Monday, November 29th at 8 a.m. For general information go to Prescott-az.gov.

Prescott Public Library will be closed for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26. The library will reopen at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 27. Although the library will be closed, the virtual library is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week offering eBooks, newspapers, magazines, movies, courses, reference material, and much more! The City of Prescott Solid Waste Division WILL NOT BE collecting residential or commercial routes on Thursday November 26th. 

Wednesday and Thursday collection routes will be collected on Wednesday, November 24th for both residential and commercial customers.  Friday collection routes will be collected as scheduled on Friday November 26th. 

The City of Prescott Transfer Station WILL BE closed on Thursday, November 25th, 2021.  The Transfer Station will reopen on Friday, November 26th, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please remember to cover and contain all loads when transporting them to the Transfer Station located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road.
