The rescue of Venus...

YCSO Deputies helped this little kitten avoid a Cat-astrophe yesterday after she and her owner were in a vehicle rollover in Black Canyon City. Little Venus escaped her crate during the car ride, causing her owner to lose control of the vehicle. Deputies responded to the scene and arranged for medical transport for the driver, who's main concern was for the wellbeing of her kitten. Deputy Moody located Venus after a 30-40 minute search, and was able to reunite this fur baby with her owners. The driver is expected to make a full recovery.
