Home Security company Safewise has listed Prescott Valley the 10th safest city in Arizona, and the safest city in  Northern Arizona in its 7th Annual Arizona’s 10 Safest Cities of 2021 report. 

Safewise uses FBI crime statistics and US Census population data to rank the safest cities in each state and across the country. The safest cities rankings are intended to highlight cities with low crime rates and ignite conversation and action around how to make all cities and communities safer. Prescott Valley has consistently ranked in the top 11 of Safewise Arizona’s Safest Cities reports since 2018.

Prescott Valley Police Chief Steve Roser said the entire community contributes to Prescott Valley’s low crime rating. “The credit for this recognition goes to the hard-working men and women at the Prescott Valley Police Department, the family and friends who support them, our community members who are active participants in their own safety, and the incredible criminal justice system in Yavapai County,” he said.
