FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Prescott, AZ (April 21, 2021) – The Prescott Regional Airport is excited to announce that an additional United flight, operated by SkyWest Airlines, will be flying to Denver beginning June 3, 2021.  This doubles the number of Denver departures operating daily from Prescott Regional Airport and complements the daily non-stop service to Los Angeles.

The additional Denver flight from Prescott provides travelers with more flexibility and options by offering a late afternoon departure option for those wanting to travel later in the day. The second flight is scheduled to depart from Prescott at approximately 5:20 p.m.

“We are so pleased to receive this news,” said Prescott Mayor Greg Mengarelli. “The return of this additional flight is a direct result of the support from our community and confidence that the airlines have in this market.”

“Whether heading to Denver or beyond, this additional flight means more options and flexibility for Prescott travelers,” said Greg Atkin, SkyWest’s managing director of Market Development. “Our passengers can also fly with confidence thanks to the layered approach to safety we have taken, with includes enhanced cleaning, mandatory face coverings and customer self-assessments with check-in.”

Since the August 2018 launch of the United Express service at Prescott, more than 105,000 total passengers have flown to/from PRC.

Tickets for this flight, as well as thousands more United flights, are available at www.united.com, the United Airlines App, or by calling Reservations at 1-800-864-8331.
